This company was created with educational adventures in mind.

I'm a mother of a very bright young boy, ( J ) who kept getting in trouble while in a 'traditional school' setting. 

​

Diagnosed with ADHD, doctors wanted to medicate him as early as age 4. 

​

As J progressed through school, often the curriculum offered did not challenge him and while getting mostly good reports, I found him getting in trouble for his 'wiggles' and inability to focus on subject matter being presented.

Then, the Covid-19 pandemic struck North America and changed life as we knew it. 

​

 
I lost my prior career in manufacturing and then I began to explore home-schooling followed then by an interesting new venture called road-schooling.  I love camping and cooking outdoors.  My son greatly enjoys nature and adventures as well. 

Thus Feral Matriarch was born.  This insane idea, to offer low-cost resources and materials to other parents, like myself, looking for an alternative way to assist in their child's education.

Keep in mind I'm no formal educator - I simply love learning.
